Sadly, Swaygo has had to stop producing their entire range of packs.

Here is the announcement they have made:

"The Last Swaygo Packs

Swaygo Gear has lost it's [sic] source for reasonable quantities of pack material. Getting more, seems to be out of reach financially and logistically. The current stock at vendors (Inner Mountain Outfitters, Karst Sports, and On Rope 1) and swaygogear.com will be the last Swaygo packs for the foreseeable future.

Of course, the rest of the innovative on ingenious Swaygo products are still available.

Thank you for your support over the past 13 years. The stories of your experiences with Swaygo Gear continue to motivate and inspire.

Swaygo Gear"

Thoughts? I personally found Swaygo packs to be quite useful, they were a quality durable and waterproof bag that were perfectly suited to carrying drills for digging/exped.

I bought one last year in the States and find it really useful. Nobody imports them and now it looks as though they will disappear completely.

Cannot find any for sale now doing an internet search. Let's hope they can source the material again as they are beautifully ergonomic and very tough. Using it in DYO the other day it doubled as a flotation bag as well as carrying my camera when worn on my back.

The material was special made for a company in Canada. That company no longer needs the material. The usage level of Swaygo is no where near the amount needed to keep making it. Swaygo even tried to buy out any leftover stock at the canadian company to no avail. With the material litterally not being made anymore, i highly doubt it will come back. There was a bit of uprising as youd expect here but the money it would cost to have the manufacture keep the line open for the material - is as you can imagine astronomical and quite unlikely.

That material must be useful for something else surely. It is incredibly hard wearing and waterproof.

I used to be production manager for a backstreet company that made plastic coated material, the basis for C.S. tackle bags - they have, unfortunately, gone under, but maybe there is someone else out there who could set up a small production run? - we could have done it - but then again, that may be why they went down ----? :-\ :-\
