Brilliant ? thanks for bringing it to our attention (and very timely, given that 'the end of the world' has just failed to happen ?again). Apropos the latter, did you know that the guy that predicted the world would end the other day got it wrong once before; that time, he blamed his maths ? said he'd done his sums wrong.

I must say, though, that I hadn't realized just how much crap there is out there.

It's not over yet (so to speak).

If it's going to be a regular occurance, perhaps we could celebrate it with a Bank Holiday each year. We would all then know when it was due to happen and could plan accordingly.  ;)

Looked carefully, but didn't see Darwinism there anywhere...

Perhaps there is a good reason for that, something to do with it being neither irrational nor nonsense?  :-\

Well that's not surprising, but there isn't a Dawkinism which would be more plausible.  :tease:

Why? Can you point me at any of his writings that are irrational?

Thought you would like to know that there have currently been at least 242 Dates for the End of the world! See here:- http://www.bible.ca/pre-date-setters.htm (All the ones in the past have obv. been wrong, lol!  ;) )

I liked this "end of the world" snippet..

Robert Fitzpatrick, a retired transportation agency worker in New York, said he had spent more than $140,000 (?85,000) of his savings on advertisements in the run-up to 21 May to publicise the prediction.

After 1800 passed and nothing had happened, he said: "I do not understand why... I do not understand why nothing has happened."

There is a simple explanation mate, you are a gullible fool.

This site is very LOL.    They criticise "the rapture"  as a false doctrine , whilst at the same time promoting new earth creationism.

Its like watching two lunatics arguing over what colour fairies are?. LOL.

You'd like the definition of theology that someone I know uses:

Arguing over the colour of Nessie's flippers.
