I'd love to provide such an image but (a) haven't taken any snaps underground since about 1980 and (b) haven't the time to look for those that I do have just now. So I guess its over to Robin (or Fulk if he gets things working again)!

I know where it is, (I think) but no idea of it's name. Due to it's location, where I think it is going to guess Yarnbury mine?

As my old caving mentor once said, when I was a youth, "Know thy Dales".
(Actually he was referring to all the little roads which offered short cuts, whist thrashing his Morris Minor van at "11", to ensure we made it to the pub before closing time after some horrendously long caving trip.)

OK, try this one then. Better give one or two clues; it's in a classic caving area, in the (so called) "Three Peaks" region. The 3 way scaff thingy abandoned in the shakehole is a good clue too.

Looks like this has everyone stumped - yet it's in one of the most popular Dales caving areas.

OK then, big clue - it's on Ingleborough.

Nope x 3; Modley Pot's a much bigger shakehole. The other two don't have the scaff kicking about, which is the distinguishing feature.

Whilst I'm on: Ian P; please can you look for an email from me relating to the CNCC course at the weekend? If you didn't get this, please could you send a PM? Ta!
