Where is this?

I have been sent some piccies of a cave but the sender didn't know the name or where it is (except that it is near "Ashford in the Water")

Obviously the explorer in the picture is ill equipped but, that aside, does any know where it is?

It's obvious that it is somewhere that floods with all the debris, but its not somewhere I recognise.

It's the Peak, so you wouldn't, Alex.

Plenty of mines round Ashford, but not that many caves that I know.

The 'debris' looks like tree roots coming in from the surface.

Picture 1 looks suspiciously like Carlswark Resurgence Entrance, picture 6 the muddy tube towards the sump, picture 5 the clamber up from the Resurgence chamber to the blind tube going roughly W. Pictures 4 and 7 are the same place, I think also in Carlswark but I'm unsure if its still the Resurgence area.

I've spent far too much time in that damn cave.

Just looking at my notes and a survey, I think 4 and 7 are the tube that goes roughly N from Resurgence Chamber, the floor looks muddy enough, and the W tube is off to the L from where the chappie is stood.

I'm now 99% sure all these pics are taken inside the Resurgence entrance at the bottom of the cliff.

Yes, that is Resurgence entrance.
