Continuing the Latin theme.

"Aut iveniam viam aut faciam" ("I shall either find a way or make one")

Would be especially good if you have an active digging team

Exploring the best passages since 19xx (I looked for a date on the website but I couldn't find one). Or that in Latin.

Where Brooding Darkness Spreads its Jealous Wings.

.....a line from Milton's poem altered to keep the clubs ladies happy.

Troglodytes Exoniensis (for the more traditional)

Some go over mountains. We go through them.

We bibble and booster  (in Devon: drinking hard and working up a sweat)

So it's all over - thank you everyone for entering! We're pleased to announce that the winning entry is...

Stop hanging around and get underground by cavemanmike!

We'll be in touch when we're getting T-shirts printed! Thanks again for helping us out!  (y)

We done cavemanmike.

Either Exeter students or students in general are a bit tamer these days. No innuendo and nothing provocative about that slogan.

Very close indeed! We thought it was inspired, and were split at a 50/50 vote but the "hanging around" seemed more appropriate for the image. I can't offer you a UKCaving mug I'm afraid (as I never had one in the first place, it was Jane who offered that), but if we ever do use your slogan (in coming years) then we'll make sure that you're rewarded  :)
