Infrared / radio triggered bulb firer wanted

As the title says I'm looking for something like the old firefly bulb trigger unit to use with extended cables to fire bulbs underwater. Cash/Beer waiting :)

Really looking for something that  I can connect a cable to that has enough capacity to fire them rather than just trigger. The firefly bulb trigger I've borrowed off Dudleybug is great but after 6 months I think I'd better give it back soon!

Sounds like an intersting project, I have a few questions if you dont mind indulging a bored engineer.

What do you use as radio triggers currently? (Would be really easy to mod something like the yn602's but obviously fitting with your existing system would be better)

What voltage do you need to trigger the bulbs? (Never used them before) and donthey just pop with a straight current or do you need  a big charged cap like a flash gun?

I assume the actual bulb/holder wouldnt need any waterproofing in fresh water?

Hi Antwan, Currently using the YN560-TX so could use this as a trigger no problem and would actually work better for me than the infrared.

The bulbs fire off a capacitor discharge, bulbs vary but anything from 3v to 30v, currently triggering with a 16v 4700mfd modified firefly bulb trigger via infrared so was really being lazy to see if anyone had one lying around rather than having to build something as my electronics aren't all that.

Would indeed be fresh water so the actual bulb holder isn't an issue being submerged.
