Matt if you're off to do the Long Round dont forget to hang a ladder on Shatter Pot first.
Whilst the syphons are going in Gloop it would be worth you popping down to Nine as the sumps can be bypassed.
Have given any though to how you intend to pass sump 4?

I really want to do the long round trip sometime... Perhaps in the late spring or summer I could come back and so it.
The Badger: do you recommend using a small bottle for sump 4 or can it be free dived ok (I hear it is a bit tight)?

No unless you count the mud sump or the troubles, which were a bit aquatic when I went through.

Andy sump 4 is free divable yet my advice is to take a small bottle and a length of line so that it can be pulled back for others to use.
Bear in mind that whatever you take down to pass sump 4 remains with you for the rest of the trip.
