Rescue Auction

Many thanks to those who successfully bid at the WBCRT auction held at White Walls on Sat 7 and thanks to Chelsea for the use of the cottage and their continued support for cave rescue.
Over ?1,100 was raised which will go a long way to paying for the refurbished rescue store at White Walls.
The stores have been restocked and surplus equipment disposed of.
The stores will be maintained by local and Swansea Valley members to a high standard of readiness. It has been possible to concentrate all rescue equipment in the rescue room at White Walls making deployment more straightforward.
Raising money from auction has become a important feature and is a regular feature at Penwyllt. With the permission of Chelsea it should be possible to make a yearly auction a feature in the Northern Outcrop.

Once again thanks to those who bid and those whose efforts, principally Vince, Pete Francis and Gary Evans, made the auction a success.
