    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Item of lost property, Dales to Mendip

Imperial Collage Caving Club stayed at Greenclose last weekend. One of the visiting students lost a small item and I'm trying to find a way to return it to her.

ICCC will be staying at the Shepton on the weekend of 26th / 27th. If any Mendip cavers are going to be in the Dales this weekend (19th/ 20th) and could drop off a very small box with any ICCC member the following weekend at the Shepton, please could you let me know?

If the Shepton isn't convenient, it could even go to one of the other huts and one of the ICCC could call to collect if necessary. But direct to Shepton is best, as it minimises the number of lonks in the chain.

Thanks.

The name "Lonk" derives from the Lancashire word "lanky"

Do you know anyone lanky from Lancashire ?  :ras:

Not got this sorted yet; is anyone from the Mendip scene up the Dales this weekend?
