The High Court in Cardiff has now set a date for the judicial review brought by the BCA which will, we hope, resolve the longstanding question as to whether caving should be covered by CROW Act 2000.

The hearing, which has been listed for two days, starts on 21st July. We will be represented by our barrister, Annabel Graham-Paul, who following the years of preparatory work done by the likes of Stuart France, Tim Allen and Bob Mehew, has drafted an excellent and cogent Statement of Facts and Reasons in which we set our claim. Our solicitor, Richard Buxton, has also done a great job.

There will be a lot more to do before the hearing, and we are still arguing over the disclosure of documents that we say we should be able to see before it takes place, but it's good to know that we are now working towards a firm date.
