Recently tried to fit my Poseidon first stage onto my 300bar cylinders and discovered that it is only 232bar rated!

Considering getting an Apex DS4 and fitting the Cyclon second stage to that.

It might be a bit late now.. (sorry) but it could be worth talking to the CDG divers about running a Cyklon off an Apeks 1st.. I think the intermediate pressures could be different... I may be wrong though..

I want to do this eventually, thinking of getting an Apex DS4 for it.
In the meantime a very helpfull CDG chap is fitting a 300bar barrel to my Posieden.

Keep an eye on ebay mate.. you can usually pickup cheap 1st stages on there.. I setup favorite searches, that way it will email you someone posts one for sale..

I'd be interested to know how you get on with you regs.. Keep us posted... it's alright having a 300bar rated reg...I have a job to get bloody 232bar of air fills down here !!

I gave up, just bought a Scubapro R390 converted to left hand feed and fitted to an Apex DS4.
Its very compact and simple, it looks pretty tough too!
