I'm still stuck using compass/clino or dial and notebook and would like to update so I can draw the survey as I go.

Where can I get an upgrade board to turn an A3 into a DistoX?

Also can anyone help me with the assembly etc - my electical/electronic skills are non existant. I'm based in the Peak district but could travel.

paperless.bheeb.ch - there is everything. If problems to buy A3 try Stabila LE-50.

I had already quickly scanned the site but failed to see the e-mail adress within the text.

From my communication with Beat today -

"I have no more kits available and I cannot make new ones because some of the parts needed are no longer manufactured.
I am searching for a new solution but this will need some time.

A new design will most probably be based on a newer model. I am currently looking at the Leica DXT.

Looks like I'll have to put up with compass/clino for a little longer unless I can borrow one.
