In brief, about two months ago. I met with some friends for a full days walk, parked in the 'paid' car park - made the genuine human error of displaying my valid parking ticket upside down on the dash.
Mr. Parking Smarter, the organisation contracted by the High Peaks will treat you as if you have not paid for a ticket.
This organisation take particular anonymous delight in offering you a preferential 'discount' of ?30, the same amount if one had not purchased a ticket (if settled in a certain time frame)
