Were in Nettle again last night - the last few trips I've made up there have always been a stack of dead sheep littering the field around Nettle Oxlow, either in shakeholes or piled up against walls etc. They always appear to be black sheep.

What's this about, any idea? I grew up in farming country and have never seen the like - can this many sheep all die from natural causes?
