Cave surveyors who haven't branched out into DistoX territory might be interested in the combined compass / clino made by Eyeskey. (Google 'Eyeskey compass clino'). I've just got one for Matienzo. At ?69.99 (or less) it would appear to be well made and up to the Suunto standard (cost of Suunto unit is around ?200). The Eyeskey is a bit heavier and might need some silicone around the seals.
