As some of you will know, the long-term digging project in Rod's Pot by Cheddar Caving Club has finally achieved a significant break-through.
On the 18th September we emerged into c40 metres of spacious passage. Being the first diggers to put the new Mendip Underground out of date inspired the name Erratum Extension. There is no doubt now that we are bang-on in the right place to forge a link with Drunkards Hole, and the presence of a draught is very encouraging.
