I am after a few copies of descent

namely 151,152,154,171,184,196,197,198,199,200,218,219,221,222

plus a few earlier ones, if you can help let me know.

Hi Pete

I've got copies of the following that you can have

- 198, 196,154, 152, 171, 197, 151

152 is a bit tatty and 171 has pages stuck together  but don't let that put you off!

I've got some earlier ones that you can have - any specific numbers?

I'm afraid I have none of those issues spare.

I have 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 137. Also an official Descent binder.

Someone make me an offer...

I also have a selection of Descents which Jasonbirder asked me to put on one side for him a great many months ago - and I'm still waiting for him to make the arrangements . . .

(Perhaps anyone in the Orpheus who speaks to him could give him a nudge? I'm still looking after them!)

Hi Pete, even though I know you, I'm still going to donate (as I suspect you weren't offering to buy) issues 135 and 171, and possibly 184, just need to dig them out and reread them once more  ;) then you can have them.

Cheers

Graham

The RRCPC library has an extensive list of its duplicate caving publications including Descent magazines which it is offering for sale or exchange. All proceeds helping the ongoing improvements to their headquarters - Bullpot Farm.

The Red Rose librarian has just received a large private collection of caving publications by way of donation, including some very early Descent, a full set of Speleologist, early CRG, ULSA and HWCPC.
Contact the librarian direct.

Last call for Jasonbirder;

Jason - after a very long time has now elapsed we've still not managed to sort out you getting those copies of Descent you asked me to keep for you. I've tried to make contact again recently, without success. (See, for example, my post above from 19th January.) So, in the hopes that someone who see you reads this message (and alerts you to send me a PM), please get in touch by the coming weekend or I'll make them available to anyone else who wants them.

For anyone else reading this; I have here Descent Nos. 153, 155, 156, 157, 158, 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 191, 201, 202, 203. They're available (if Jason's not got back to me by weekend) in exchange for donation(s) to the Northern Pennine Club library fund. Collect from the Dales or we can probably arrange "caver post" outside the Dales.
