German film maker Warner Hertzog is making a 3D documentary about the caves at Chauvet, France.
This is likely to be utterly fascinating for anyone with an interest in the subject. No idea when it's coming out, but Herzog is a bit of a visionary. Details here:

I wonder if his guys will be limited to the steel walkways like most visitors. Only cave I've ever been down where I only actually touched the rock once.
