    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

I am very interested in going down a few caves/mines in Cornwall, one in particular Geevor mine. I love the whole area, would love to hook up with someone who has the knowledge and has any spare time .... many thanks :)

Unless you do the tourist trip into Geevor you can't go underground.  The deep adit is open but gated and access is currently (officially) denied.

There's a few adits in the Cot Valley that don't have access restrictions as such, including a through trip in Bellan Mine.

Cot Valley area is National Trust & mineral rights in part held by other parties so "no access restrictions" not strictly true. For anyone going to this area it really is advised to contact St just Mines Research Group who have the local contacts & have access to some sites not possible otherwise.
