I'm part way through Jeremy Paxman's latest book, 'Black Gold' about coal mining in the UK (published in the last 48 hours). As you'd expect, it's well written. I assume it's reasonably well researched - I don't know enough about it to comment.

I'd love to have an informed opinion?
