More medals for 'our' Geoff

I learnt this morning that Geoff Yeadon has been awarded the British Empire Medal for services to cave diving.  Geoff has a long list of cave diving achievements under his belt.  His stories from under Kingsdale are legendary with the 'Underground Eiger, King Pot inlet and Deadman's Handshake' to name just a few.

Despite this fine honour I expect Geoff will still value his Game for a Laugh medal more highly.  An even finer award for appearing on the gameshow of the same name.

Well done Geoff

Are you sure about this badlad? It?s probably somebody called Geoff from Yeadon that?s got the gong. ::)
If not, then does he get his own parking space at masongill and first dibs on any going lead?

A couple of shots of Geoff pushing the recent extensions in Long Kin West, 50 years after he make his first breakthrough down there.

Sorry Geoff only just picked up on this thread.

A very well deserved recognition.

The only thing more impressive is the colour coordinated shades and gloves in the photo because when the future is that bright you do need to look sharp!
An example to us all.

Congratulations
