We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a weekend road closure of the A465 Heads of the Valley between Brynmawr and Gilwern.

The weekend road closure is required for: continuation of drainage along the edge of existing carriageway east of the Drum and Monkey, four drainage/duct crossings across the carriageway, a crane will be positioned on the carriageway lifting in internal cladding sections onto Pant Glas footbridge, soil nailing works, tarmac operations and white lining. Other works will also be undertaken to maximise the full use of the road closures.
Please note: Following this road closure, we have a further one weekend road closure planned between Brynmawr and Gilwern until the end of June.
