I was shown this by a work colleague and is caused an interesting discussion around the legal process and interpretation of law.

Only slightly related to caving but could, at a pinch, be linked to the crow debate.

Just an example reminding me that English law is open to interpretation and courts can be a lottery.

In actual fact the precedence has been set by 'Custom of the Sea however special reference needs to be made to R v Dudley and Stephens (1884) 14 QBD 273 DC ....(The Mignonette)
