EuroSpeleo Competition Results

A list of winners of the four 'salons' - Photo, Art, Survey and Video - is now online at http://hidden-earth.org.uk/history/winners.2016.html. This list is still subject to any minor corrections that are made known to me. I know, for example, that some people changed the titles of their entries on the day, but I didnt make a note of those.

All the entries in the SRT competitions are listed on the results board at http://forms.eurospeleo.uk/srt/index2.html?event=0 together with the 'league' positions. The winners of the individual events are also summarised at http://eurospeleo.uk/competitions/

Further competition results are likely to appear on the EuroSpeleo site at some point, I understand.

When you click on the link for the video salon winners, you'll need to delete the final full stop that's got itself entangled.

David, I've sent you a pm about the SRT results.

That's a bug in this bulletin board software. The parser seems to get confused, and doesnt always realise where a URL ends. Someone needs to tell it that URLs cannot legitimately end in a full stop.  It is peculiar though (as bugs often are) because it gets it right in the preview of the message but then gets it wrong when you "post" , as opposed to "preview" your message. The URL should be

http://hidden-earth.org.uk/history/winners.2016.html

Whilst Im writing... and because someone has asked me ...  I am not responsible for the spelling mistakes on the results page of the main ES web-site :)  That's outside my control. My fiefdom is limited to the forms.eurospeleo.uk sub-domain.
