Is there that much happening in the UK now though? As time goes on there's less and less to find and what you do find is harder and harder to actually achieve. So it may take several year's to get through, so nothing to report over that time. What I am saying is there's just simply less news...

Just be careful the landowner don't come down the cave with you, with scrappy clothes and rips his back on the roof of the cave hehe (but loved it anyway lol). Landowner here is very nice and has his own copies of Northern caves!

Oh I noticed on another post that you are a vegan? Unfortunately, that's going to be difficult in Georgia. I think there is/was one vegan restaurant and it was stormed with people with sausages. They are not very open, I did not mention I was gay there either, as it's not LGBT+ friendly.

There's a tourist office in Mestia (It's semi-touristy), which supplied some semi-decent maps (to purchase) there are lots of trails around. My husband also had access to old soviet era maps, but I don't know how it got them unfortunately. The hiking itself I remember the paths are not that well...

It's all academic anyway as it's never going to be dry enough. I still want to do the through trip to Rift should such a rare thing happen, but it was almost completely blocked last time, I can't recall how long ago that was so it won't help you that much.

I thought I saw this online in Birmingham underground, which is the US Birmingham, so might not be the UK or my memory is faulty which is more likely.
