Have you visited the British Caving library?

I've visited many times online and it's always been a great service

    BCA pros and cons

I imagine Eton alumni are a similar amount of the population. And they have a lot of influence sadly

    BCA pros and cons

As someone without access to a club library easily. The BCL is one of the major pros to my BCA membership. I get online copies of some journals and scans of pages of journals and magazines emailed to me on request every Wednesday. A pretty good deal especially if you're interested in caving...

Concrete screws - smaller stainless screws tested

The smaller concrete screws work well for digging I've found. For quickly drilling and hauling boulders out of the way

    Carabiners - Uses & Preferences...

I think quite a few cavers don't like wiregates because the nose of the crab gets caught in just about everything whilst trying to do srt

Oak stemple from Far Sump Extension

Maybe a pump handle for a bar?

Maybe there's something to this exercise lark?

Beer at every pitch head could be a nice day out 👀

    Progress capture pulley. Which one?

Do you have a link for the Spoc, I've never heard of it before The mini traxion is worth a look as it can stay on a crab whilst you put rope into it. And it's smallish

    Carabiners - Uses & Preferences...

Screwgate Omni for a D ring Various screwgates for everything else except my short cowstail which is a snapgate. I use a petzl AMD for my stop which I find nicer than an oval. I also have a 6mm maillon on one of the harness D ring loops for clipping bags to. As Josh says 7mm maillons for rigging!

    Small mammal to greasy slab

The top of bar is much much worse than the flat out crawl to small mammal. Or maybe I'm a larger caver.

What size bag do I need to take kit on a plane

If you can wear it , it doesn't count. Bum bags are good for this as long as they don't see it at the gate.
