GPS receiver recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for a make and model of GPS receiver suitable for taking on an expedition to Mulu. Key features I can think of:

- Mechanically robust
- Small and light weight
- Powered by dry cells
- Works under tree cover
- Plenty of memory for storing track and  waypoints
- Reasonably priced

Anything else to consider?

Nick.

standard of waterproof
touch screen v button operated
size of screen
takes additional SD card / on board memory
ease of translating data onto / from computer
availability of free maps
