What is the best shape etc. carabiner for belaying using a Munter hitch. I currently use a DMM zodiac but this seems to jam alot. Should i be using a biner with a round body? Cheers

Apologies for any hold ups  in goatchurch today...we were leading a particularly novice group. Was amazed to see 3 lads go down to the waterchamber with NO HELMETS  :o Also another 2 people who said they were 'batters' and not cavers went down the coal chute with no helmets! Strange/brave...
