    yea that what I was doing really,an there was alot of water going down the pitch an really wasn't 100% it was on the bottom so done the stopper,the mistake was I'd usely take the stopper out when down , but just back away from the water and forgot.

    I'm back over here on 14th of march and probably every few months anyways. If there about Fermanagh there more than welcome to stay at the HUB an they would be made very welcome. couldn't believe when I pulled it up ,it was about half way an I was like sh**t noooo. lol

    the rope in question is less than a year old, I don't mind who gets it keeps it or donates maybe to a digging project or replacing rope aids within in a cave.

    not meaningful littering at all. a honest oversight. an one off I can guarantee, mistake like that could have been worse for sure. lucky was enough rope to exit.

    around 20m of orange rope had to be left behind on spilt pitch 2nd one. I stupidly left stopper knot on the pull through and had to cut. I know I know silly me! if any one is doing that trip would you be able to retrieve and leave at the YSS hut if possible. Thanks
