That's a little more than five miles from me as the crow flies, and I have to say I didn't notice anything!

Some context for those who have recently joined: there was a fatality due to rockfall in Bull Pot, Kingsdale in 2015, shortly after an earthquake.

As per the above linked article: "Michigan Technological University's Earthquake Magnitude Scale says magnitude tremors of 2.5 or less are "usually not felt" ". So that is probably why. :)

Our own BGS website states (of this earthquake):

"Felt Buxton and in the surrounding villages Dove Holes and King Sterndale. Reports described, "the floor shook", "everything seemed to rumble for a few seconds" and "felt a weak shaking"."

As ever, mind those rickety boulder chokes . . . .

Erm...we shall see on Sunday!!

Mind you, the mini-earthquakes going off twice a week next door don't seem to have done much. Though they've been felt in Blue John Cavern more than once ;)
