Amazed at the service from Fenix/Inglesport

I have a Fenix HM65R, the dual beam lamp. I bought it in October 2019, used it in Mulu and have used it as my main lamp ever since. I go caving/digging twice a week, even more frequently during the pandemic years. Last December it started playing up. Flashing, coming on in the middle of the night and reverting to travel mode - problems with the electronics I presumed. I mentioned this at Inglesport and they suggested I bring it in so they could return it to Fenix. Eventually it went to China for repair and has come back in full working order. There was no charge. The lamp was over three years old and noticeably well worn.
That is a level of service you rarely see these days. Hats off to Fenix.

That's good to know; thanks for posting. I don't have any Fenix lamps (yet) but I do use Inglesport, obviously.
Totally agree that Inglesport provides an excellent service to we cavers and, in my opinion, we're sreally fortunate to have them on our doorstep.

That's true, and the mail order service is also very good. We recently ordered something on a Monday afternoon, and it arrived the next morning.

I also had a fault with an HM65R. Flickering charging lights, not working at all unless plugged into the usb lead. Tried cleaning the contacts and different batteries etc. No joy.

So, on the back of your post I took it into Inglesport on Saturday. Bit of fiddling and Johnny diagnosed it as a bone dry and dirty o-ring, making it hard to tighten fully. I was skeptical as I thought it was tightened fully.

Anyway, I’ve cleaned it and added a tiny amount of silicone grease and it’s all fixed! Works like new and much easier to put together.
