Craven Pothole Club journals

I was having a sort out in the attic and found 22 CPC journals dating between 1951 and 1984. I'm not sure why I have so many. I know I have picked up the odd one over the years but i think most of them were given to me by a friend who moved abroad years ago. Anyway, I'm happy for them to find a new home if someone values having them. Otherwise the log burner awaits to keep me warm over the winter.

The NPC library is missing 1951 and 1952; we'd be really pleased to have these if no-one more desrving has asked?

I also know someone trying to build a collection. Let me have first dibs, on his behalf! I'll try and sort the detail a.s.a.p.

I think the NPC may need a 1953 edition as well. Can't get at the library currently to check (because of the extension work which Matt flagged up on here.)

Badlad - yes please to those first 4 (the earliest ones).
To make your life as easy as possible, if you want me to take all the others and find good homes on your behalf, I'm happy to do the legwork. (It's something I do regularly and it's helped many forum members fill gaps in their collections over recent years.)

Whatever - just don't shove 'em in the log burner. (It's really bad for the flue liner!)

One option might be to ask JJ to take them home, as I go past his place all the time. He's always been very helpful with this sort of thing.

It's all or nothing Pitlamp ;)

I know three of your neighbours well and will get them to drop off. Cheers

Great; thanks! Let me know which of them it is in case I'm not here when they attempt first delivery!
(Always like to track a package . . . . )
