Devonshire padlock

I was down Devonshire on Friday evening and found the padlock on the top entrance had been forced open and was so damaged it wouldn't relock.

Devonshire padlock has now been replaced and we are looking at options to convert to Derbyshire Key.

I was down here today with a group and some youths came in the top entrance using mobile phones for lighting.
I think they all got in by climbing in between the bars/rails. Having a closer look late , the 15-17 year old in my group could all squeeze through OK as well.

Good on them, what a great sense of adventure. Did you point them in the direction of a club who could potentially get them down caves in a safer manner?

Unfortunately they disappeared as soon as they saw us so did not have chance to chat to them.
