Dig in Kingsdale Master Cave

Hi - I was just wondering who is digging in the side passage at the top end of the Master cave?There is quite a bit of digging equipment etc in evidence.Will it be there for long? :roll:

Belongs to Burnley Caving Club. No idea how long they intend to leave it there tho.

Unless one of the diggers posts with thier thoughts - who knows.It seems to be an inlet passage which has been choked with fill.It looks to have been dug for quite a long way. Quite a bit of effort has clearly been employed - but the coils of plastic pipes are a bit of an eyesore.Hope the diggers efforts are successful - and that the evidence of their task is removed and does not become a permanent feature etc.

I believe that the passage has proven to be merely an oxbow. Hopefully the clutter will be removed asap.
