Dig robbers in the eastern Dales.

Personally i really dont like to post stuff like this cos im always glass half full. Unfortunately the Angels of the North dig was raided last week by who knows what kinda nutters. They slashed our ropes to nick expensive pulleys and brand new scaff clips recently supplied via NE and BPC. They raided our shelter and lobbed gear left to us by our dear departed mates into the sinkhole. Carrying off our most portable tools, eg Roughneck spades and nice crowbars, our surface survey tape measures and a bunch of other kit, the team felt- well - violated- as well as robbed.
Old pals and the show cave have helped us to find more secure storage foe some gear.
We will be fine and press onward and downward. Just to say, do please be aware there is some baddies roaming the dales.

Ah, I wasn't aware we were back on that. I'm not free on the usual days next week but after next week, things go quiet.
