Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"
It's only on in Weston-super-Mare until Wednesday and there's no listing for it at Wells so presumably if you want to see it next weekend you'll have to go to Bristol or Bath or somewhere else; the other added problem is that, having checked with five cinemas in Bristol, they update their showing lists on Fridays so you'll have to wait until Friday before you know where and when it will be on during Saturday (if at all); therefore there's no point in trying to organise a club outing to see this film `cos no-one knows where it's going to be showing.
Not sure you lot should see it really - you would spend the entire film criticising technique, kit and the set (I did my fair share in between mouthfuls of popcorn) :argue:
Some of the characters did look a bit familiar (obviously us girlies in the club are much better looking than the women in the film), can't say much more or I might spoil it for you.
I think there's another thread on this topic somewhere else where I praised the film to high heavens for its accuracy, realism, thrillingly stimulating plot and startlingly intellectual denouement. I write all this without the slightest shred of sarcasm or glibness.
