ahhhh... I see CPC website that dates have been revised now to end on Fri 18th rather than Sat 19th as previously published. I can bring ropes but the CNCC booking system is closed for Sun 20th

My guess is that once down any of the entrances, cavers will want to visit the main chamber, and that won't be a safe place to be while lighting cables, guide wire, scaffolding etc is being derigged, so control is in the hands of CPC.

If you can bring your own ropes, it's probably not the best weekend to go.

Hi CPC folks, I'm still hopeful that I'll be around GG on Sunday 20th, despite the not so great weather forecast

I realise this is 1 day later than the last winch meet day (19th). Does any know the order/schedule of de-rigging please? This is a bit cheeky... but is it likely that Bar Pot might still be CPC rigged if I'm about on Sunday?

Hi Tom

The current “plan” is to have all entrances de rigged AND the scaffolding gantry removed by Saturday evening.

I see no issue with you coming up on the Sunday and using your own ropes and having a “normal” trip down Bar Pot.

Please just come over to the shake hole and check we are clear.

The code words of “Any chance of a brew” should hopefully still be working 👍

Any issues, just ask for me and I will do my best to help.

We would never want to unnecessarily hinder any caver access to the system.

Great to see plenty of visiting cavers using the facilities.
