Golden Lion - Horton

Off there on Saturday night for an annual get together. 

What's the ale and food like there?
Their own website claims they have TT's Golden Best which I'm rather partial to.

Went there once about 8 years ago now and stayed at the campsite just up the road. As far as I remember it was lovely food and the beer was ace  Of course it could have changed since then  :

They still had Golden Best last time I was there.

Have a good night! I haven't tried the food there (unless you count the Pringles from behind the bar), but the beer was looking good last time I was in.

The food was good the last time I had a drink in there, but that was in 1965, when they had bar billiards and it was locally known as T'Brass cat.
