Greek Caving

Every 4 years, cavers and cave scientists from all over the world gather for this event, which will be in Athens, Greece in August 2005. The Congress includes somewhat more events than an NSS Convention, has its own style, and allows you to meet cavers and ideas from outside your country. And there are caving camps before and after the Congress that take you to caves that you would never see otherwise. Don't worry about not speaking Greek. Much of a Congress is in English wherever it is. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, START GETTING YOUR PASSPORT SOON (since that can be very slow).
