HILLOCKS / KNOTLOW BAD AIR

Had a trip into Hillocks mine yesterday via Wharf Climbing Shaft and towards Knotlow connection the news is that the bad air problem is in Knotlow. Did anyone in Hillocks notice the bad air especially at the bottom of the engine shaft. The two systems were fairly busy yesterday us being the first people to enter the system. There are notices on every entrance warning us of this problem maybe we should take note until the matter or source is dealt with.There was definately something not right in there if anybody else noticed anything get back to me CHEERS

When you refer to "bad air" can you describe what you mean? Was there just a smell or were there symptoms of breathlessness and/or headaches - or both smell and symptoms?

Cheers for your reply mate knew air was bad in Knotlow just seeing if anybody in Hillocks noticed anything especially at the bottom of the engine shaft.There was a gas type of smell if you walked away from it and then came back it was definately noticeable.We were only in there 1 hour if that looking around and i am relatively fit but on the way out i was totally wasted something deffo not right.Not saying we should not go in there just think we all should be a bit aware.
