Jingling Pot, Kingsdale. Unfortunate Sheep Incident.

Its probably gone now, but there is (or was, 2 weeks ago) a dead sheep neatly suspended at the top dead centre of the entrance shaft.  It had apparantly fallen and caught its neck in the fork of a small branch of the tree. Saved, but not quite saved ....

I tremember going down there when a sheep had landed at thebottom, so do I imagine hundreds of others.  It didn't half make the place smell bad.

Was at Rowten week or 2 back and when I got to top of the shaft there was a guy pottering about taking pictures and he had seen said sheep and had watched its decay in his passing visits to the area but I'm sure he said it had gone and that a party down Jingling said it was at the bottom :yucky:
