Anyone know of any recent find / extentions in Magnetometer Pot?  By recent, lets say last 10 years.  Its been a while.  Thanks, Wren.

Would that be since the last release of NC2?

There was an extension possibly early 90s off Caton Hall called Pastures New - unsure if that features in NC2 or not as I don't have it to hand to check!

Yes, it's described as ' .. 180m of high level passsage ending in a chamber and steep boulder choke near Gour inlet. Is it worth looking at?

It's a cave, it's a passage - of course it's worth looking at!

Seriously though, I've never been so couldn't say, I just know of it from a survey I've seen. Didn't look last time, so I might have a nosey whenever I get chance to go caving, good weather and not doing some other trip (not asking for much am I?).

Pastures New

My last (and only visit) Sept 1991 ie a very long time ago. Someone must have found something new since then in Mag - I believe ULSA attempted to extend Pendant Passage downstream but don't know if they got anywhere.

Pastures New involves quite a necky traverse/climb. What follows is about 100m of quite nice passage with some big potholes and then it deteriorates. You will probably find some digging tools if you get right to the end...

Mark (original discoverer of the said passage!)
