Miners Knee Pad

Good evening.

I bought three pairs of the old style miners knee pads from Caving Supplies over 10 years ago and I’m down to my last pair which are about drop in bits.
Does anyone have any idea where I can buy some more identical or similar.

The same price as a “simple” pair of neoprene ones 😱

Wow! How much! Caving has become a millionaires hobby.

Home Bargains and/or B&M Bargains have knee pads at about £6-£7. Not sure how suitable they are for caving.

I use Nailers kneepads and whilst they can be a little bulky in some contexts they're comfy and usually around £15, and many DIY shops sell them, unlike the Warmbac ones.

Good service and posted quickly
Thank you Katie.

Just like my old ones, I’ll buy some today.

I found the best ones for me, flexi neoprene knee support sleeves off ebay. Worn under furry suit.

For extra cushioning in Limestone country, I stuff a couple of folded dusters or slices of sponges down the fronts.

Its like crawling over kittens!
