Is there a Dales based caver who goes by the name of Pete Rowe?

Spending a rare five-minutes with the TV on watching a programme called ‘Reuben in the Dales’, on C5, which featured an old chap by the name of Pete Rowe as an expert in traditional stone working techniques.

He gave a demonstration in the use of plug and feathers, but notably had a load of tackle sacks and more pairs of wellies than any normal person needs, stashed behind him. Also said he does ‘work underground’.

Edit: he donned an Ecrin Roc and we learned that he’s a caver.

Yes, he's a prolific caver; done loads of exploratory stuff in Derbyshire and the northern Dales.
