Petzl Arianne water container...?

Has anyone ever tried unscrewing the upper half of the Arianne carbide generator before?

It certainly looks like it is threaded, but not sure how hard to try just in case it has been glued or otherwise sealed... (and yes I realise I have to remove the water valve before I try! )

This cutaway diagram does show a threaded portion at the top section, but it still could be glued or whatever.
