Rescue? Behind the Hill Inn ...

Does anyone know what was going on behind the Hill Inn today? We drove past at about 2.30/3pm ish and there was an ambulance parked on the road and a landrover that looked as if it might be CRO trundling down the fell towards it.

As we were driving past the Tatham Wife Car Park at about that time yesterday a 4*4 Ambulance (not CRO one) and another ambulance drove the other way towards The Hill Inn. Both had blue lights flashing. I don't know any more than that though.
