On Sunday the majority of CUCC left our expo in Austria and headed to Speleocamp in Slovenia, along with a couple of friends from Bangor uni caving club.
Thought I'd share all these stickers/notes from the bunkhouse here of other UK clubs that have stayed in the past! So when no one replied to our thread asking for cave / activity recommendations in the area it can't have been due to a lack of people visiting 👀 if this sparks anyone's memory of a visit we'd still love to hear from you with recommendations!
The guy that runs the place, Frank, is really lovely. He said he visited Mendip before but 'mostly they just went drinking in the pub' and didn't do much caving. He warned us that a UK club had come here in the past and spent the week 'drinking and partying until 6am, sleeping all day, then going caving at 6pm' - wonder which club that would have been!
*update, can't seem to post the photos as it is tricky to upload photos from a phone onto here. But the stickers are from: UK Caving, MUSC x2 (2005 and 2012), BEC, Cerberus, NPC, BPC x 2.
