On 21st April this forum published a post by Badlad - Tim Allen - which wrongly stated that Chris Binding, who posts on the forum under the name Cap?n Chris, had knowingly entered a cave in Spain without the necessary permit, and had been prosecuted for this.
Tim Allen swiftly removed the post when the inaccuracy was pointed out to him, but he nevertheless regrets disseminating the erroneous story and wishes to apologise to Mr Binding.
For his part, Mr Binding accepts that Tim Allen is the official BCA CROW Liaison Officer and was appointed to this position in accordance with the BCA constitution. Mr Binding wishes to apologise for inaccurate public social media posts which wrongly suggested Mr Allen is not a BCA officer.
Both Mr Allen and Mr Binding regret the mutual ill feeling these events have caused and look forward to a positive relationship in future.
