I agree with Sam T's comments in the thread on First Aid Kits....

I carry one of these in my chest pocket of my warmbac at all times

They are like a huge sandwich bag - used it one a couple of times. They are one use only but just a bit more durable than the tin foil things.
Ive heard that those shiny blankets are just a bit too lightweight in a cave - they just get shredded withing seconds of removal from packet.

I too have carried one of these for years but I purchased one from an outdoor shop in Crickhowell last week which was far superior, orange, heavier gauge, a bit bigger pack size but still fitted in my pocket. I had to use it on Monday night and it was huge as well as tough.

I have just bought a replacement from Caving Supplies  £2:50  the one I bought in Wales was £1:50, I will be ringing the shop in Crickhowell!

Gone to carrying big orange one. Smaller ones not upto it IMHO. The orange ones are bulkier (put down front of welly) but the "hassle" of carrying one is outweighed by the benefits. It's a piece of survival kit so when/if you need it, it had better be up to the task.
