I had some junk to put in the loft last night  and the hatch was stuck.

Soooo.... I'm standing on the top step of my rickety old stepladder which is at the top of a flight of stairs. Leaning out precariously whilst fiddling with the latch on the loft hatch with both hands.

If I can just lean out a little more and get my left hand round the back of the latch I'll get more purchase. Its okay, I know its a dangerous drop but I'm safe because I'm clipped in with both cowstails.........

No. Wait. WHAT?
